News
Engagement season is officially underway, and if you’re newly engaged (or deep into planning), now is the perfect time to start thinking about your wedding venue. At 5 Points, we love helping couples create celebrations that feel personal and meaningful.
Located in downtown Roanoke, our space blends historic character with a creative, modern energy, which makes it an ideal backdrop for couples looking for a wedding venue that feels warm, artistic, and unforgettable.
Why Couples Choose 5 Points
Our venue offers a unique mix of atmosphere and flexibility that works beautifully for both ceremonies and receptions.
A One-of-a-Kind Space: Originally built as a church, the sanctuary features soaring arched ceilings, hardwood floors, and an elevated mezzanine overlooking the main floor, a stunning setting for vows, toasts, and dancing.
Flexible Layouts: We can accommodate seated ceremonies, cocktail-style receptions, or a combination of both, with room for up to 200 guests depending on layout.
Built-In Amenities: A full bar area, professional lighting and sound capabilities, ADA accessibility, and nearby parking make planning easier for couples and guests alike.
A Team That Knows Events: Our staff works closely with couples, planners, and vendors to make sure timelines, layouts, and logistics come together smoothly.
Picture-Perfect Moments
From your first look to your last dance, 5 Points offers countless photo opportunities. Natural light, architectural details, and unique sight-lines from the mezzanine help create wedding photos that feel authentic and timeless. It’s a space that looks just as good in candid moments as it does in carefully planned portraits.

5 Points Music Sanctuary is proud to share that we have been awarded a grant of $7,500 from The Louise R. Lester Foundation to support our Healing Through Music program. This funding allows us to continue offering free group music therapy for individuals living with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injury (SCI) who would not otherwise have access to this type of care.
For many survivors, recovery involves more than medical treatment. It involves rebuilding connections with themselves and others. Music therapy offers a positive and engaging way to support emotional, cognitive, and social goals. Many insurance plans do not cover music therapy as a standalone service, and out-of-pocket costs can prevent individuals from participating. This grant allows survivors to take part in therapy.
What This Grant Makes Possible
With support from The Louise R. Lester Foundation and in partnership with Anderson Music Therapy Services, the grant will fund:
Five 12-week virtual group therapy cycles
Each group is limited to 12 participants for a focused and supportive environment. Up to 60 people will be able to participate throughout the year. Virtual programming removes barriers related to mobility challenges, transportation, and distance.
Commitment to Healing Through Music
Since 2017, 5 Points Music Sanctuary has invested more than $60,000 in music therapy services for children and adults, including children with developmental delays, veterans living with PTSD, and individuals recovering from neurotrauma. This grant allows the program to continue growing and keeps therapy accessible for people who need it.
Registration Information
We are currently accepting registrations for the next group therapy cycle. If you or someone you know would benefit from music therapy, we invite you to sign up through the link below.

Space is limited and early registration is recommended!
Thank you
We extended our sincere appreciation to:
The Louise R. Lester Foundation
for believing in the healing potential of music
Anderson Music Therapy Services
for their ongoing partnership and dedication to every participant
Together, we are working to ensure that cost or access never prevents someone from receiving support through music.

Healing Appalachia 2025
In September 2025, we were honored to return to Healing Appalachia at the Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Kentucky. The festival welcomed nearly 20,000 attendees, with headlining performances by Chris Stapleton and Tyler Childers.
Our onsite services included coordinating accommodations, accessible parking and drop-off, mobility shuttles, and managing the ADA viewing deck near the main stage. We also deployed the 5PTS Soundpack to support hearing and sensory needs, distributed free ear protection for all ages, and provided way-finding and check-in assistance for ADA guests.

Healing Appalachia’s mission — to connect and grow communities of recovery and healing across Appalachia while raising funds and awareness to combat opioid addiction — closely reflects our own values at 5 Points. By helping make the festival experience more inclusive, we expand access to the music, the community, and the message of recovery.
Attendee feedback highlighted the value of the dedicated viewing deck and the hearing and sensory support tools. We’re proud to contribute to this mission and look forward to strengthening this partnership in the years ahead.

Talking Sound, Community, and Live Music with Biscuits & Gravy
We had a blast joining the Biscuits & Gravy Podcast for Episode 62, where Tyler Godsey sat down with hosts Eric Reynolds and Bryton Dalglish to talk about live music, community, and the mission behind 5 Points Music Sanctuary.
With a plate of biscuits and gravy, good laughs, and live music from Dizgo, Tyler shared what drives our team to make experiences more inclusive, accessible, and unforgettable.

Rooster Walk 2025
We kicked off our 2025 festival season at Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival (May 22-25 at Pop’s Farm, Martinsville, VA). With Trampled by Turtles headlining and sets from Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and ShadowGrass, the weekend was filled with good vibes, great music, and lots of dancing.
Accessibility
Our 5 Points crew was on-site all weekend, making sure everyone could experience the magic of Rooster Walk. We helped coordinate accessible parking and drop-off, offered shuttle and golf cart rides for guests with mobility needs, and created comfortable ADA viewing areas with companion seating. We also deployed our 5 PTS Sound packs (wireless hearing & haptics) for guests with hearing impairments/sensory sensitivities, and provided complimentary ear protection (ear muffs for kids; hi-fidelity ear plugs for older kids/adults).
Our mission is to help make live-music experiences inclusive. That fans of all abilities can enjoy a festival weekend with safety, dignity, and full participation. Festivals like Rooster Walk give us that chance to turn that mission into action.
